Job Summary The IT Helpdesk Associate is responsible for communicating, analyzing, and troubleshooting routine computer user problems and to provide proper solutions or remedies. They will aid via telephone, email, and using online tools primarily. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Resolve routine user hardware and software problems or questions including desktop computer hardware, software,
and enterprise system software. Ensure response times are quick and effective to appropriately resolve requests. Follows up with users after problems have been resolved.
Install, maintain, and update software and operating systems. Prepare, test, ship (if applicable) and confirm laptops are delivered to new employees timely before they start with the organization. Clean, modify, and repair computer hardware. Troubleshoot and manage hardware, software, and network problems. Administer user accounts, passwords, and privileges/rights as assigned and directed by system administrators and security protocols. Implement and maintain security controls. Server maintenance and updates. Track IT
assets for the organization in the online IT inventory, including laptops, accessories, and other technology materials, and software licenses.
Improve overall technology performance by helping organization identify opportunities for improvement and recommending changes. Informs CTO and/or other leadership of opportunities for end-user training by identifying issues or trends and recommending instructional remedies. Other duties as assigned. Does this sound like you? This is what we are looking for: Minimum of 1 year of IT Support experience. Windows Server experience and/or training. Experience with Microsoft 365 suite. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Experience with network drives such as routers, switches, and firewalls. Familiar with malware remediation. Service oriented and enjoys team environment. Excellent oral, written communication, and analytical skills. Experience working directly with internal clients or associates, participates and helps collaborate on process documents where needed, and the ability to track and monitor resolution.
