Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS Must possess either a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA), Registered
Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential from an accredited coding program and be an active member with AHIMA and/or AAPC.
Minimum 2 years facility coding experience. Profee coding experience is a plus. Proven history of maintaining 95% accuracy rating across all coding categories. Proficient with Microsoft products such as Word, Power Point, Share Point, and Excel. A strong understanding of physiology, medical terminology, and anatomy Proficiency in computer skills: Intermediate level experience with usage of Microsoft Word and Excel Mathematics skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational
skills Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality of medical information Strict attention to details Desire to grow and learn new methodologies related to statistical coding, auditing, abstraction, etc.
