Qualifications Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain multiple concurrent projects, provide deliverables on schedule, and document the effort Experience with solid modeling/design, Solid Works preferred Must have experience with product design process (Define, Ideate, Design, Prototype, Implement) Design for manufacturing experience is strongly desired Looking for someone with knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as product launch. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals. Adaptability and desire to learn new technologies Education/Experience BS in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Biomedical Engineering, or related engineering field; Advanced degree is desired 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing product design or related fields Due to the nature of our business and information associated with this position, interested candidates must be US Citizens.

The Robotics and Autonomous Systems Department has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Your experience will allow you to influence research directions; evaluate the challenges and potential solutions for designing, developing, and fielding machine learning solutions; backss the adequacy and maturation of existing research programs and shape their technical and programmatic direction; and identify new
areas where research and development are needed to strengthen the nation’s growing machine learning capabilities.
