the best for them. Job brief We are looking for a Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT department. You'll be responsible for managing our development environment which included managing physical and virtual servers, supporting applications, managing backups, and network infrastructures.
To be successful as a Infrastructure Analyst at i Works, you should have troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with various operating systems and excellent communications skills. Responsibilities Planning, testing, installing, integrating, and maintaining new and upgraded versions of the relevant operating systems. Building and hardening Linux servers and establishing configuration baselines.
Providing technical support to other teams (e. g. application development, etc.
) as required. Maintaining and updating documentation on the operating system configuration and all other areas of responsibility Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues. Train new system users and set up their accounts. Monitor the performance of servers, software, and hardware. Ensure the smooth deployment of new applications. Update technical documentations. Requirements and skills Minimum of 3 years configuring and maintaining Linux servers 3 years of experience in managing enterprise using VMware, Vcenter and ESXI. Experience in installing, and maintaining RHEL 6,7 and 8 Experience in administrating in Splunk environment.
Develop and deploy automation infrastructure using the Shell scripting. Provide input on ways to improve the stability, security, efficiency, and scalability of the environment. Using STIG and SCAP to harden Linux servers, and establishing configuration baselines Ensure all application services are monitored and performance meets requirement. Develop, deploy, and manage infrastructure using the ansible Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networks Understanding of cloud computing and infrastructure-as-code Communicates Communicate solutions and concerns with team members.
Willingly share expertise and important or relevant information with team members. Display excellent communication skills.
