We are seeking a Network Engineer in support of a government contract for wargaming. Position located in Quantico, VA. Responsibilities include: Plan, build, update, and maintain the entire Wargaming network infrastructure to include switch configurations and updates Troubleshoot wargame simulation network connectivity to ensure network operations during wargame execution
Provide cyber security and Information Assurance services in compliance with DOD IA policies, processes, and procedures Support physical security policies, processes, and procedures Support the government in planning, executing, and maintaining a Site Security Plan Perform security patch management for network Configure auditing mechanisms to monitor, review, and safeguard network log files and provide reports to the government Configure and manage network access controls, adhering to government account management policies Create, update, maintain and submit network management and security diagrams and documentation to the government Perform preventive maintenance on network components and advise
the government of recommended replacements and upgrades Use STIG Viewer to ensure switches’ compliance with Do D IA policies Use Pu TTY to console into switches in order to update and configure switches using Cisco commands Submit network related tickets on the behalf of the Division for NIPR and SIPR networks that the division relies on for day-to-day operations Required Education, Experience, & Skills •Must have a current and active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI •CCNP certification •BA/BS in relevant field Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills •Demonstrated experience in Network Engineering in a classified DOD IT environment Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $122870 - $208890 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
