S. citizenship is required. Position responsibilities: Systems Administration Specialist for a diverse system of both physical & virtual servers & workstations. Providing Sr. Level technical problem solving and in-depth consulting for systems operations Part of a team responsible for administration and management of servers, end-user workstations, and potentially clustered systems operating
in both unclassified and classified network environments Analysis, design, and implementation of modifications to the systems software in order to improve systems performance, correct errors, or fulfill specific needs Impact planning new hardware acquisitions, developing operating policy, interacting with vendors, educating customers, and communicating and collaborating with other projects within the organization Support for application installation, licenses management, software tracking/distribution and backup/recovery of system configurations and user data files Assist users in applying for accounts and approving user access.
You will also be responsible for all Con Mon and compliance
activities for servers & workstations. Perform OS and vendor software patching on servers and monitor physical and virtual servers' performance using monitoring tools.
Integrate STIG's, run SCAP and/or Nessus scans. Skills: Subject matter expert (SME) with the ability to mentor others on administrating the server environment Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 7. We are actively seeking an IT Systems Administrator to join our team located in Dedham, MA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Tier 1 and Tier 2 ERP support and administration. Manage all IT server/service operations
to meet customer internal requirements. Respond and track IT ticketing system requests. Responsible for enterprise messaging services and related integrations.
Accountable for domain services, certificates, and topology. Tier 2 and tier 3 support for enterprise users. Act as escalation point for access and support problems not resolved by helpdesk. Desktop patching technologies and maintenance. IAM technologies and administration. Responsible for the on time, on budget completion of system implementations and integrations projects. Backup to the Systems Engineer and the infrastructure they support. Ensure compliance and adherence to information systems and security controls and standards.
Maintain IAM standards and processes through documentation and mentoring.
Manage vendor relationships. Perform other duties as needed or required. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of Role Based Access Control (RBAC) methodology. Expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft environments including, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Office365. Operating and management knowledge of Ani-virus technologies. Experience with MS Dynamics AX, MS CRM, MS SQL Server is a plus. Knowledge of backup, restoration, protection, disaster recovery. Strong project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects.
