Anatomic Pathology (AP) or AP/CP board certification is essential. Pediatric pathology fellowship training and board certification is also essential. Candidates with fellowship training or experience in other areas of anatomic pathology [especially general surgical pathology and/or cytopathology with experience performing ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA)] are also strongly desired.

Additionally, candidates should have relevant experience and credentials to be hired at the Associate or Full Professor level. The candidate will be responsible for clinical service coverage including general adult and pediatric intraoperative frozen section consultation. The candidate will share

responsibility for training residents and fellows. Creative contributions in clinical, educational or research projects are expected. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is an integral part of the vibrant UCLA research enterprise and there are numerous opportunities to participate in clinical trials, translational research and basic research. Compensation for the position is highly competitive and will be commensurate with experience.
