e. GSEC, Security +CE, SSCP and Vendor certification and IT Training Provider certificate for network environment main operating system). Secret Security Clearance US Citizenship Responsibilities: The candidate must have experience in the following: Implementing operating systems and network devices security configuration in accordance with Defense Information

Systems Agency (DISA) approved Security Technical Implementation Guides. Must provide the essential support for servers and laptops, to include new operating system or proprietary software installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting.

Correcting flaws and implementing technical controls in the hardware or software installed within a network environment. Must be capable of testing proprietary software, data transfer protocols, and hardware upgrades. Performing vulnerability backssments using Assured Compliance backssment Solution (ACAS), Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG), the Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)

Compliance Checker, incorporating automated Benchmarks. Must be capable of monitoring and developing the procedures for backups of the servers and laptop images.

Maintain data files and control procedures for a system of networked computers. Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Proactive personality with the ability to work with limited guidance and supervision. Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing competing priorities and initiating projects. Preferred experience: Knowledge of OOMA system and aircraft data reports Knowledge of the NMCI and MCEN Networks Experience with e MASS and/or MCCAST Knowledge of registering applications within DADMS Knowledge of registering a system within DITPR-DON Demonstrates providing solutions for and implementing RMF security controls.

Efficient in analyzing, developing, implementing, testing and evaluation of software components and/or systems. Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (+5 years’ experience), Associate’s Degree (+7 years’ experience), or High School Diploma (+9 years’ experience) Linux and/or Windows Certification (Windows preferred) Physical Requirements: Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.

Must be able to communicate converse and exchange information with peers and senior personnel. Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, computer printer and copy machine. Security Clearance Requirements: Secret Security Clearance required. In addition to the security clearance, this position may require an additional background screening for base access. U. S. Citizenship required.
