the system infrastructure that runs Dollar Bank. This position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of systems administration at Dollar Bank, including server infrastructure, enterprise applications, highly available systems, system builds, monitoring and tuning, disaster recovery, and more.
You will also have the opportunity to work with many teams such as developers, analysts, and cyber security administrators. This is a hybrid position. Principal Activities and Duties: Provide Level 2 technical support and assist with Level 1 and Level 3. Escalate issues to Level 3 after appropriate SLA. Monitor the operating system environment, troubleshoot, and maintain system integrity.
Provide advanced troubleshooting of server, operating system, and application related issues. Assist Level 3, and guide Level 1 to perform detailed system design, configuration, implementation, documentation, and support.
Automate IT processes, tasks, and system workloads via scripting. Prioritize and work IT request and issues from conception through implementation. Participate in the server build, maintenance, and turndown process. Assist with the implementation of emerging technologies and systems. Interact with other team members and business unit personnel. Participate in disaster recovery testing. Familiarize, gain experience, and comply with change control procedures. Required
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field, or commensurate experience.
Two (2) years of experience with the following: Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems installation and configuration. Microsoft Windows Server tools such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and SQL. Troubleshooting server and system-related issues. Managing hypervisor technologies like VMWare and Nutanix. Remote Software Deployment and IT automation Scripting/automation experience using languages like Power Shell, Python, etc. Intermediate knowledge of: Cloud platforms like Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure IT management software like Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Big Fix, etc.
Networking protocols, especially TCP/IP Terminal server, file/print server, VPN software Understanding of infrastructure, Active Directory, firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes Fundamental knowledge of: o Linux Operating Systems installation, configuration, and monitoring o Agile methodologies o Dev Ops principals Must be willing to work a variable schedule as needed, including early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays. Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds. Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a team. Preferred Qualifications: AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification or greater.
