and Intelligence Sector is seeking an Expert Level (18+ years) Risk Management Systems Engineer to work within our dynamic Enterprise Engineering team in Chantilly or Springfield, VA. The Enterprise Engineering team supports the Government by providing systems engineering and integration support for NGA's Sensor Integration (TIS) Office.
This team provides strategic and solutions-level systems engineering support for the integration of new sensor capabilities into the Enterprise architecture. Candidates will be responsible for facilitating the risk management process, as well as for continuous improvement of the risk management process. As an Expert level Systems Engineer specializing
in Project Risk Management, you will oversee the Risk Management activities of all the various sensor integration projects, tracking and reporting status, actions, concerns, and issues to senior Government Leadership.
Provide Risk Analysis consulting expertise, as needed, to the project teams, as well as be responsible for analyzing and managing enterprise level and Joint external risks. Skills and Experience: Required: Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific fields such as Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional systems engineering experience of 4 years with no degree and 2 years with a non-STEM degree. 18+ years of relevant experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: Do D/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
