Senior Network Systems Engineer Edge Solutions Position Requirements: Active TS/SCI Clearance BS Degree in Networking/Information Technology, or a closely related field along with 8-10 years of experience OR MS with 6-8 years of experience OR 13-15 years of experience in lieu of a degree. Demonstrated knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies and concepts like: Physical Network Media, Subnetting, VLANs, Routing, Firewalls etc. Demonstrated knowledge on the TCP/IP stack like: MTU, Ports and Protocols, FCR, TCP tuning, Tunnels, etc.

Proficient with common switch, router, and firewall operating systems like: OSX, NSOX, JUNOS, etc. Proficient with Wireshark, TCPDump, or other traffic analyzer tools. Working knowledge of the OSI model and understanding of the interactions and dependencies of different layers. Proficient with F5 Big IP LTM and APM and/or NGINX. Experience with virtualization and container-based solutions. Experience navigating and administering Windows Server and RHEL (or equivalent) operating systems. Located in the DC, VA, MD area, occasionally willing to travel, some telecommuting available.

Senior Network Systems Engineer Edge Solutions Preferences: Certification that meets the IAT level II requirement. Experience with DOD network architectures, procedures, and policies.
