This role is integral in supporting our strategic decision-making process by employing mathematical modeling and advanced analytical techniques. Program Mission: In partnership with Jacobs, the USSOCOM J51 and J52 divisions collaboratively work to fortify the nation's defense against irregular warfare and asymmetric

challenges. Leveraging Jacobs' specialized services and expertise, J51 crafts global approaches for SOF applications aligned with Do D's Global Campaigns, while J52 formulates USSOCOM's strategy, policy, and posture.

Together, with Jacobs' support, these divisions ensure the precise, informed, and dynamic allocation of Special Operations Forces to uphold and advance the objectives of the National Defense Strategy. Together, with Jacobs' support, these divisions ensure the precise, informed, and dynamic allocation of Special Operations Forces to uphold and advance the objectives of the National Defense Strategy. Primary Responsibilities: Formulate and implement mathematical models and other optimization methods to interpret data aiding managerial decisions. Provide in-depth analysis during strategic planning, command strategy, risk backssments, and evaluation of operational ROI. Collaborate with Operational Planning Teams (OPTs), Crisis Action Teams (CATs), and other relevant groups as necessary.

Support Jacobs' strategic documentation with ORSA expertise, from preparation to coordination, data collection, and analysis. Employ ORSA methods and tools to aid joint planning and contingency operations, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and are of national importance. This position is CONTINGENT upon contract award, the expected award date is in January 2024. Here’s What You’ll Need: Basic Qualifications: Civilian Education: MA/MS in relevant fields like Social Sciences, Public Policy, Applied Statistics, Operations Research, Systems Analysis; OR Military Education: CGSC Equivalent or higher.

A minimum of 10-15 years of operations research systems analyst (ORSA) experience, with an MS degree in Operations Research. Active TOP SECRET clearance and eligibility for SCI. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in one or more specialized areas such as SOF, PSYOP, MILDEC, CWMD, CYBER, AT/FP, SNA, Special Programs, Interagency Experience, Intelligence, and CCMD will be given priority. Previous collaborated with or have experience with USSOCOM.
