and upgrades; diagnose and resolve problems; monitor and improve performance; migrate data from legacy systems to modern systems. Design and manage backup and recovery processes and continuity of operations plans.
Select appropriate database technologies for specific requirements, such as online transaction processing systems (OLTP), decision support systems (DSS), data warehouses, object-oriented or other non-relational data stores, real-time systems, and mass storage systems. Acquire data, coordinate data flow, and promote data quality. Position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph level clearance. Position Required Skills: Bachelor's degree plus 4-years of relevant experience or
Master's degree in plus 2-years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus82-years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position Computer Science (CS) degree or related field Experience with Elasticsearch and Kibana Experience with Linux system administration Experience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentation Position Desired Skills: Dev Ops experience Experience with Niagara Files (Ni Fi) Experience with IAVAs, patching, Tenable, Nessus Knowledge of security hardening procedures for Linux Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED plus 8 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience.
Degree must be in a Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field. Technical/vocational or military training certificate in a computer-related field is an acceptable substitute for the Associate Degree. Relevant experience must be in database development, administration, or maintenance; and systems administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
