Job Summary: Raytheon is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer & Integration (SE&I) Engineer in the Northern Virginia area (near Springfield, VA) providing Company-wide systems engineering and integration support to an operational government customer within the Intelligence Community.
This position manages moderately sized projects or processes with minimal oversight and provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in

This position is an onsite role – Near Springfield, VA Not Relocation Eligible – Relocation assistance not available Responsibilities to Anticipate: The Senior SE&I Engineer provides systems engineering and integration support to backss, plan, coordinate, schedule and implement projects from inception through system transition. Problems and issues faced can fluctuate and require detailed information gathering, analysis and investigation to understand the problem and determine the appropriate resolution. This
position communicates with many levels of program, other contractor and government stakeholders and works to positively influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
A key purpose of this position is to manage system integration projects and provide reliable data to the Customer enabling them to make informed decisions regarding the installation, integration checkout and test of operational system modifications and upgrades. Basic Qualifications: Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
Systems installation, integration, and test experience. Excellent Systems Engineering technical abilities and project management skills. Requirements analysis demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in team environment (Government, Military, SETA, and Contractor) Skill needed RFC impact review and backssment experience. Understanding of cross site and enterprise level planning and implementation practices Advanced to expert knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
A broad knowledge of project management An active and in-scope TS/SCI with CI Poly U. S. security clearance Preferred Qualifications: Experienced with Customer NSIS and/or rapid delivery methods.
