the transition of a critical legacy system. The SE will work closely with a team of software developers, system engineers, Subject Matter Experts, and analysts to perform requirements derivation and refinement and reverse engineering of existing legacy code.
The ideal candidate has some experience with cryptanalysis, encryption/decryption, and/or software development to enable them to understand and document data flows and functionality of existing software. The SE will develop and deliver documentation, participate in various meetings and interface regularly with SMEs and external teams. The candidate must be a proactive, self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The SE will develop technical documentation, system architecture and system design documentation; interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts.
