a motivated, career and customer-oriented Night Shift Senior Network Engineer to join our team in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities Include, but aren't limited to: Network Engineering: Troubleshooting/Tier II/Tier III support. Network Monitoring: Solar Winds/Cisco Prime Infrastructure.
Network Documentation: Visio drawings/developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Diagnosing and resolving the toughest performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above. Writing SOPs to accomplish repetitive tasks. Participating in processes throughout all phases of ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests. Investigating and resolving operational
problems along with other engineering and technical personnel. Working on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer’s production IT environment.
Other tasks to include requirements specification, performance modeling, end-to-end functional analysis, cost estimation, and joint application design. Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science or related field) with 4+ years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) field or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Do D 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Sec+, CND or SSCP). Cisco or Microsoft certification. Experience using
