We are expecting award and funding of these positions in February 2024. Some duties could be: Plans, prepares, and performs testing, evaluation, verification, and validation of software to evaluate results against specifications, requirements, and operational needs supporting integration, installation, verification, and validation of new DCGS software.
Develops Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs) software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Performs developmental, operational, and interoperability testing on systems to evaluate and verify hardware and/or software to determine compliance with defined specifications and requirements, level of assurance
of developed capabilities and quality assurance of software. Performs automated testing for acceptance testing, functional and connectivity testing, integration testing, interoperability testing, load/stress testing, performance testing, regression testing, and unit testing.
Evaluates and documents software, hardware, or interoperability test results. Identifies deficiencies and risks and recommends possible solutions to mitigate them. Administers test bed(s), and test and evaluate applications, hardware infrastructure, rules/signatures, access controls, and configurations of platforms. Uses models and simulations to analyze or predict system performance under different operating conditions.
Builds, backsses, and modifies product prototypes using working models or theoretical models.
Integrates digital engineering models and data into test designs. Qualifications will vary on level, but most will require: Bachelor’s Degree in a computer science, engineering or information management related field 4 years of related experience is required. Identify and evaluate AFRC applicability of Do D and AF architecture strategies, guidance, and policies to ensure AFRC compliance with higher-level architecture processes and procedures. Review artifacts created by other AF entities that describe AFRC capabilities. Develop templates to support appropriate document generation standards and manage the versions; generate interactive (html) version and other MS-Office managed versions. Ensure compliance with, and collaborate on updates/changes to, AFR EA guidance and documentation. Review and update published material such as the EA AFR Processes and Procedures document, AFR EA Charter, and AFR EA Modeling Standards document, and other AFR owned EA documents, as designated by the Government; recommend revisions or changes in scope, format and content.
Develop or maintain a " Fit for Purpose" architecture compliance requirements checklist, to be used in the Government architecture approval process. Develop and maintain agendas and minutes for EA meetings. Develop and maintain EA performance metric statistics and briefings, as required, by AFRC EA Program Management. Create/update/maintain AFRC Business, Information, and/or Technical Reference Models.
Collaborate with the AFRC CEA or designated representative to devise and document an AFRC " to be" business, information and technology EA strategy/vision. Assist the AFRC CEA office's integration efforts for all EA-related planning, management, investment, evaluation, and revalidation efforts to meet AFRC's operational and business objectives. Requirements and Qualifications: Experience with architecture governance practices and facilitation of working groups. Demonstrated experience preparing and authoring management plans and white papers on topics related to architecture, systems engineering, strategic planning, or related topics.
