and selection strategies for all student staff positions; coordinate all aspects of the recruitment and hiring process for positions in compliance with Human Resources, Departmental, and Divisional rules and regulations.

STUDENT STAFF TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Work closely with the Assistant Director for Recruitment & Training, Housing staff, and campus partners to develop and implement training and development strategies for all student staff positions; coordinate and implement all aspects of training and development processes in compliance with Human Resources, Departmental, and Divisional rules and regulations.

Provide oversight of training content development, learning system

management, instructional design, curriculum development, as well as scheduling, logistics, implementation, and backssment of learning. SUPERVISION: Serve as the direct supervisor for a graduate assistant; administer all personnel procedures (hiring, time sheets, documentation, and performance reviews); formulate staff work and meeting schedules.

ADMINISTRATION & COMMUNICATION: Maintain accurate staff rosters; develop and maintain systems and procedures which ensure efficiency; inform housing staff and students of procedures and regulations related to recruitment and training on campus, in the community, or in the region; oversee administrative responsibilities within the functional area.

STUDENT SUPPORT & ADVISING: Serve as the advisor for the Student Staff Advisory Council made up of representatives from all student staff positions within University Housing; serve as the delegation advisor for the annual FRAS conference; engage in regular interaction with students and staff to be aware of their issues and concerns; actively identify and support student staff that need greater attention and/or resources.

DEPARTMENTAL REPRESENTATION: Serve on Departmental and/or Divisional committees/workgroups; assist with Departmental initiatives; assist in coordination, implementation, and evaluation of annual surveys. Qualifications Master's degree in higher education administration, student personnel, counseling or related field on or before January 1, 2024, and have full-time or graduate housing/residence life experience in college/university setting required.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to adhere to ethical business practices and promote ethical behavior. Ability to deal with crises and manage sensitive information. Ability to effectively train and direct the work of others. Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously. Knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply related federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
