to oversee day-to-day business operations. The candidate will assist HTC staff with the creation of budgets; Monitor the expenditures in assigned awards and projects to ensure adherence to budget allocation and spending guidelines, making corrections as needed and providing forecasting to prevent deficits.

The successful candidate will advise and assist HTC staff with financial matters as needed, providing up-to-date guidance on University financial policies and procedures; Oversee entry of all expenses and receipts, monthly reconciliation, budget entry requests, cost transfers, and records maintenance for all organizational awards and projects. The project manager will have exceptional

communication skills and excel in administrative coordination by planning assistance and logistical support for meetings and special events as well as coordinate ongoing communication between HTC and Region, Department, School of Medicine, Office of Sponsored Programs, RCE – Contracted Management Group, University Physicians' Group and Medical Center Finally, the project manager will also spend time maintaining information in databases/spreadsheets and run standard reports as needed to provide audit and compliance support.

Specifically, the candidate will monitor 340b shop program compliance and requirements, assist the HTC Director to write and submit program grants to all agencies in

a timely manner including budget development and required progress reports, and work with HTC Medical Director to manage the HTC’s overall relationships with the CDC, MCHB, ATHN, Hemophilia Network Region and other outside entities to maintain the center’s status as a federally qualified hemophilia program.

The successful candidate will be expected to: Develop systems and processes necessary for the recruitment, tracking, planning, and execution of projects. Attend client meetings for ongoing and prospective projects. Arrange, manage, and maintain relevant relationships. Oversee the development of relevant project proposals and budgets and recommend approval of them before submission to clients.

Responsible for financial performance of projects. Analyze financial and operational reports. Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with internal and external clients to reassess, renegotiate, and amend scope of work responsibilities, proposals, contracts, and budgets. Engage in communication and change management in relation to progress of projects. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Qualified candidates must have: Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: At least four years of experience.

Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates typically have the Project Management Institute (PMI) certification. The Program Manager will report to Colleen H Druzgal at al Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The position is located in Charlottesville, VA. This position will remain open until filled. This a restricted position and is dependent upon project need, availability of funding and performance.
