Onsite Position Your Responsibilities As a Program and Test Manufacturing Engineer for John Deere Harvester Works located in East Moline, IL, you will e valuate, design, and implement solutions in Smart Test to ensure quality and functionality of the machine throughout the assembly process.
In addition, you will: Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to develop updated testing procedures in response to quality data and request from internal and external customers requirements. Employ troubleshooting and debugging strategies; determine root cause with support from others and provide support in troubleshooting and upskilling others on Smart Test software. Visa sponsorship
is NOT available for this position. What Skills You Need Experience with programming, embedded controllers, communication networks (CAN, ethernet).
Experience in the design, development, testing and integration of machine software solutions. Strong understanding of Combine and Front-End equipment with the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and create testing solutions for quality issues. Ability to manage many competing priorities/requests in a fast-paced environment. Understanding of electronic components and electronic systems. What Makes You Stand Out Experience with Smart Test programming, JDDAT, SAP, and machine software. Bachelors / Master’s degree in Engineering discipline.
Strong collaboration, communication, influence, and inclusion skills. Track record of introducing emerging technologies into products which produced significant realized benefits. Education Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or 5 or more years of related work experience.
