fiberglass parts using appropriate templates, jigs and fixtures as part of the pre-assembly stage of the overall boat production process. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Drill Holes and trim/grind molded fiberglass hulls to specifications using appropriate templates, jigs and fixtures.
Follow daily production of Trim & Grind/Hole Drilling in accordance with the master production schedule and other departments. Operate and maintain tools (e. g. drills, saws, grinders, and other hand and power/air tools) and equipment (e. g. fork lift, suspension hoists/lifts, etc. ) Follow daily production schedule to complete in a timely manner. Locate parts by hand or utilizing detail blueprints, standard work,
tools, and/or fixtures. Follow specific job instructions, frequently reading and providing verbal and/or written status of part completion. Accurately maintain all Hole Drilling/Trim & Grind records.
Performing all Hole Drilling/Trim & Grind operations. Maintain clean and safe work environment. Must have keen attention to detail. All other duties as may be required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & CHARACTERISTICS Experience & Knowledge : 1+ year of experience working in field desired. High School Diploma or GED a plus. Major Activities (Typical Duties/Responsibilities) Administer the AFNORTH and AFSPACE operations planning process in accordance with HAF, MAJCOM, and joint service, policies, directives, and procedures.

Draft Concept of Operations (CONOPS), warning orders, operations orders, execute orders and request for forces for the Director, Air, Space, and Information Operations. Draft operations annexes of CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH) and (AFSPACE) supplements to NORAD and USNORTHCOM conceptual and operations plan. Conduct mission
analysis and course of action development, develop request for force with through analysis of mission requirements, higher headquarters guidance, plans and supporting data.
Participate in the AFNORTH deliberate and crisis and action planning process, lead and participate in operations planning groups, and in the CONR-1 AF (AFNORTH) and (AFSPACE) contingency action team operations. Perform contingency Action Team (CAT) future operation lead planning duties as required for any contingency or exercise requiring a CAT. Finish imperfections
or defects in fiberglass hulls, decks and small parts by identifying defects in the fiberglass. Finish gel coat blemishes and defects with the use of buffers, sanders, spray guns, finishing spray and wet/dry sanding.
Limited experience of finishing raw glass on small parts, fiberglass repairs or reshaping, and non-skid repairs. Ability to select abrasives, according to materials, sizes and shapes of work pieces. Ability and experience in painting repaired surfaces. RIGGING : Proficient at effectively and efficiently installing interior and exterior parts of boats to hulls, decks, consoles, leaning posts, and hardtops - including engine, electrical, plumbing, and hardware. Performs other
duties as directed by supervisor. Must be mechanically inclined and experienced in use of basic hand tools, air tools and electric power tools.
