WHERE WILL YOU WORK? All around the resort; responding to guest calls, associate needs, and emergency situations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly manner. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming which include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working. Use proper two-way radio etiquette when communicating with other employees. Maintain contact with the Front Desk/Night Auditor at all times. Hold briefing with Guest Services staff both at the beginning and end of shift.
Be knowledgeable about hotel and guestroom locking systems. Answer phone and dispatch. Deliver requested items to guest rooms. Receive deliveries. Pick up items left on property (during rounds). Make wake-up calls. Maintain an awareness of legal limitations of position. Maintain daily activity log. Maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents. Check I. D. of visitors/employees as necessary. Open secured areas for authorized personnel. Check lights and door locks. Check safety hazards. Conduct room theft investigations. Investigate auto accidents/theft. Investigate assault complaints.
Assist with intoxicated guests. Challenge suspicious persons. Provide escort. Respond to security alarms. Assist during medical emergencies. Administer First Aid/CPR as necessary. Administer Heimlich maneuver to choking victims. Be ready to utilize AED if needed. Respond to employee altercations. Complete Incident/Accident Reports in a clear and concise manner. Work special functions as requested. Assist with van runs as requested. Other duties as required by management. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training (must comply with State requirements) CPR/First Aid/AED/Heimlich Maneuver Certified; can also arrange to have certification done through the resort Must have a valid driver license for the applicable State and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record (property specific-driving) PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS Security Officers work in fast paced environments.

Responsibilities might include
deep cleaning of assigned areas, delivering service items to guest rooms upon requests from the front desk or other department call.
WHERE WILL YOU WORK? Public areas of the resort grounds RATE OF PAY fulltime, hourly position at $20.00/hr ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to, also some duties relevant in future) Comply at all times with Timbers Company standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations. Ensure each shift by visiting assigned floors and collect trash, dirty linen, and other materials as instructed. Assist with cleaning public areas not limited to hallways, lobby, and other workspaces. Complete daily assignment checklists and submit them to supervisor.
Handle items for lost and found according to resort standards. Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor. Ensure the highest level of customer service by anticipating and responding quickly to guests' requests. Make deliveries to guest rooms for guest-requested items such as amenities, rollaway beds, cribs, bedding, and linens. At the end of the shift, turn in all the keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping Office. Practice safe work habits to ensure safety to guests, fellow associates, and self.
Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager. Pool Operations Your tasks in this position
will include setting up pool seating and umbrellas, removing trash and other items from the pool area including picking up towels, and stocking and handing out fresh towels.
Direct people in a courteous manner and have them follow your direction when working the water slides, having safety always on the mind. Customer service skills are important in this role as you will be dealing with guests’ needs and/or inquiries. In the future, guests will have the option to rent cabanas which the pool attendants are responsible for attending, providing a clean, safe environment for the guests' pool day. Beach Operations You will be working one of the two beach operations offering chairs, umbrellas, and towels to our guests.
Greet and check-in guests in a pleasant and professional manner, escort them to their preferred area, and provide them with clean towels. You maintain and upkeep the cleanliness of the beach, enforce safety rules, and regularly check that equipment is functioning properly. Additional responsibilities include answering guest questions, providing solutions to their problems, and ensuring they are completely satisfied with your services. Other duties include taking down and storing beach equipment and keeping a safe environment while following company policies at all times.
As we continue to open the resort’s recreation amenities there will be opportunities as the department will continue to be expanded; not limited to additional pool and beach operations and recreational activities and events. RATE OF PAY $20.00 plus the opportunity to make tips ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to, also some duties relevant in future) Monitors the day-to-day operations of the Resort Pool Complex and beach operations/services. Oversees the cabana rental programs. Manage all guest issues as they pertain to the pool areas, equipment or pool malfunctions are reported into respective departments to ensure timely repairs.
Comfortable being tasked to work on the waterslides. Reports any deficiencies to superiors. Monitors inventory of cabana supplies (purchasing and receiving dept. ) and place orders accordingly to avoid supplies running out. Assists with monitoring inventory of pool towels, pool lounge chairs and pool umbrellas. Assists with monitoring inventory of beach towels, beach lounge chairs and beach umbrellas. Keep all areas neat, clean and in good repair at all times including work vehicles. Enforces safety and operating procedures and provides for maintenance needs in compliance with health and safety standards.
Provides great public relations and is knowledgeable of resort happenings; all to be of better service to our guests and owners. Directly involved with hurricane preparedness and other extreme weather conditions monitored daily. Assists in the development, recommendation and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures and work standards for the resort. Attend company meetings whenever necessary. Assist and advise where needed with all recreational needs throughout the department that includes the pool, beach, daily activities, special events and group events.
