that is looking for a Technician. This position will work with a team of technicians during the installation process. Because the position travels from client to client doing installations, this position should anticipate travelling approximately 75% of the time, both locally and nationally.
Duties and Responsibilities: Work individually or with a team to install, test, troubleshoot, and maintain/repair Pal Care emergency call system installations Install, test, repair, and maintain Pal Care emergency call systems. These duties will also include remote support (via phone call and remote computer access), training at time of installation, and supporting clients after the installation is
complete. Complete daily documenting of service performed, performing scheduled maintenance, and supporting service sales. Represent Pal Care to communities and residents through thoughtful, respectful communication Position Requirements: Three (3) years installing, servicing, and maintaining Access Control Systems and related systems.
Excellent customer service skills even for difficult customers Ability to hear horn and/or warning devices at a distance of 30 yards. Visual ability (uncorrected or corrected) to observe and detect signs of dangerous obstacles at a distance of 30 yards. Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance. Ability to work safely from ladders and
scaffolds. Ability to work in extreme temperature ranges. Ability to perform work all day that requires standing, climbing, crawling, kneeling, squatting, bending, and lifting properly approximately 50 to 78 lbs.
Ability to operate all tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner. Ability to problem solve quickly and find effective solutions to issues that arise.
