(AC) Snacks the (human) resources to operate in a positive workplace based on the established policies and procedures. Hybrid- work model and Relocation Assistance will be provided for this position if applicable. Areas of responsibility: You'll follow personnel management activities to run HR efficiently.
Oversee collection of production and attendance data as it relates to payroll and ensures timely submission to accounting for payroll calculations. Maintain plant and departments HR records, reports and logs. Represent the Company for any unemployment and workers compensation claims. Partner with HR Administrative team, to carry out day to day activities regarding FMLA, ADA, ACA, ARISA,
COBRA, and any law that has inherence in HR. Participate in the development, writing and updating of AAP and EEO programs. Ensure supply and welfare facilities are efficiently managed, maintained and orderly.
Monitor consistent compliance of personnel policies and procedures. Collaborate in the Implementation of safety and health plans to ensure regulatory compliance, a safe and healthy workforce, and low cost. Consults on the plant safety function and collaborates with Safety Manager on the development and execution of all workplace safety related programs, procedures and issues. You'll execute Organizational Development activities in compliance within AC standards. Coordinate the execution
of the Great Place to Work (GPW) surveys, place, GPW people, and preparing test times.
Establish day to day training activities. Keep up to date Development information for employees and succession planning. Contact heads of departments to determine the 360 networks to be used. Find courses and coordinate in house training. You'll supervise day to day employee activities to ensure a good working relationship with the employees. Resolve day to day situations between employees and management. Making sure to comply with AC Snack policies and applicable laws. Work with supervisors to create a better work environment by counseling them on benefits, wellness programs, company initiatives.
Extend job offers, corrective action and terminations. You'll execute compensation and benefits activities in compliance with established procedures. Partners with Administrative team on job offer letters, promotions and transfers paperwork. Elaborates authorization formats. Partners with the Benefits Manager, to ensure timely open enrollment, health and wellness fairs, and other related events. Coordination of community service and sustainability events for plant locations You'll coordinate recruitment, selection and hiring process to ensure the company has the necessary people.
Partner with Sourcing Specialist to ensure execution of employment activities (recruiting, screening, interviewing, selecting, and orienting) for the hourly workforce, as well as the salaried workforce in coordination with the plant management team. Suggest changes to new employee orientation, ongoing training initiatives, employee relations counseling, and exit interviews. Provides feedback to Sourcing Specialist around review of applications and interview applicants to fill entry-level and technical job openings. Represents AC Snacks in local job fairs. Manages headcount and other key indicators.
Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field or equivalent experience. Bilingual English/Spanish skills At least 5 years' work experience in an HR generalist role. At least one year in a manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, Workers Compensation, Safety and OSHA regulations, and all applicable employment laws. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Self-motivated and detail oriented. A problem solver. Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. Preferred: Experience in maintaining non-Union status within a manufacturing facility.
PHR certification a plus. Able to work flexible hours, occasionally working on second / third shift. Proficient in MS Office applications (MS Word, Excel and Power Point). Familiar with multi-states, including California, employment practices. Able to travel 40% of the time if located out of Atlanta, GA region. About Wise Wise Foods Inc.
