to 5pm. Our small assisted living/memory care community is looking for enthusiastic, patient, and fearless people to direct activities for our residents. All activities are provided—no planning/organizing is required—but we need people to carry out the activities in a loving, energetic manner.
Activities include crafts, music, physical games, group games, board games, puzzles, storytelling, and presentations (again, everything is provided). Must pass a background check and be able to lift 50lbs. CNA licenses preferred by not required. Experience working with elderly residents preferred by not required. Principal Roles and Responsibilities: Provide professional, prompt, and courteous Breakfast service ensuring guests’ satisfaction Serve menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner Prepare food in a quick/timely manner for service and special functions, ensuring that all stations are set for forecasted covers.
Perform pre - and post shift side work, which includes but not limited to set-ups and break downs, condiments etc. Clear tables after service. Remove trays of dirty dishes, silverware, and glassware to kitchen for cleaning Maintain health and cleaning standards as required by state and local Health Board
inspections. Prepare food items for the next shift and/or next day. Report food inventory status to supervisor or Manager on Duty as needed. Rotate food stock/inventory in keeping with industry standards and practices.
Assist in checking coolers and storage areas for cleanliness, quantity, and quality of food products. Report any equipment failures or service needs. Participate in department meetings. Maintain up to date food handler permit Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Carry, lift, push, pull, move, items weighing up to 50 pounds on your own. Principal Roles and Responsibilities: · Clean dryer filters daily· Operate washers and dryers according to recommended capacity and other manufacturers’ guidelines and ensure necessary chemicals are added in the correct quantities prior to wash cycles· Receive soiled linens by bag, cart, or chute from floors· Sort linen by kind, color, and degree of soil· Inspect laundry and linens and record all damaged or stained items· Fold clean linens and store as appropriate· Sweep and mop laundry floor· Monitor and replace chemicals as needed· Clean washers and dryers regularly· Ensure that the laundry sink
