Assists with setting up banquet rooms from 10-200 people and serving meals. Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly abide by state liquor regulations, particularly those prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving. Greet guests as they arrive and assist them with seating at tables. Take guests' alcoholic beverage orders, utilizing suggestive selling techniques, when specified on
function requirements. Input order into system; legibly document orders when system is down or collect tickets as specified. Set up, monitor, refresh, and breakdown for coffee breaks, receptions, and buffet tables following specified functions according to group requirements.
Clean all equipment as assigned. What we're looking for: Minimum of 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Food handling certificate. Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal. Activities Staff. Create recreational activity agendas and advertisements using publishing software. Conduct inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment and inform manager of low supply items. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule owner/guests to participate in recreation activities.
Promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere for owner/guests. Provide information to owner/guests about available recreation facilities and activities. Promote the rules and regulations of the recreation facility intended for the safety and welfare of owner/guests and members. Observe activity in the recreational facility and respond appropriately in accordance with local operating procedure in the event
of an emergency. Be aware of possible situations where owner/guests are not able to safely participate in an activity and inform supervisor/manager. Provide assistance to injured owner/guests until the arrival of emergency medical services.
