Essential Duties: Advise and train managers and supervisors in best employee relations practices and strategies for managing supervisor problems and employee grievances Conduct performance reviews Assist with the development and communication of policy changes Provide timely advice and counsel to team members Prepare and maintain an annual budget Lead investigations involving discrimination and harassment
claims; provide guidance to leaders involved in other investigations Ensure company policies are applied consistently Conduct on-site visits and meet with local team members Process HR transactions in the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations Maintain knowledge of regulatory changes and best practices in human resources and employment law Support in-house and external counsel with investigations and documentation as needed Job Qualifications and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience Current HR certification (Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resource
Management (SHRM)) or the ability to become certified within six (6) months of hire Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff Excellent verbal and written communication skills Functional knowledge of employment laws Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous supervisory experience in an airline environment Proven proficiency in HRIS software - e.
