As a Registered Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the total care of residents and supervision of nursing staff at the Southeastern Veterans' Center, and ensuring adherence to HIPAA standards.
You will provide general supervision, guidance and assistance to all nurses in the daily implementation of health care activities, treatments and medications for residents; plan for and obtain all medical equipment and supplies necessary to meet the needs of the residents;

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 80 hours biweekly Work hours are 1st shift, seven shifts per pay period: six 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and one 8-hour shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with 30-minute lunch. Training will be on day shift. You will work rotating days and weekends. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements: Three years as a Registered Nurse (commonwealth title); or Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Necessary Special Requirement: All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
