Laborers will be trained to assist crews with all aspects of the herbicide application and maintenance of equipment. You will receive instruction on operating our state of the art equipment, and will also become familiarized with concepts of right of way herbicide applications and railroad operations.
Positions require extensive travel and during peak season most assignments will typically take multiple weeks to complete. While working on the road, company will provide lodging and also per diem reimbursement for meals and other travel expenses. In the
field, employees will work directly with railroad representatives and will learn to plan, schedule, and complete work safely and efficiently. Employees are also responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining assigned RWC equipment to ensure its continued safe operation.
Ideal applicants possess basic math skills, are good communicators, and have strong problem solving skills. Laborers will regularly have to climb on and off equipment, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. A strong mechanical background is beneficial. We require all our employees to maintain a strong emphasis on using safe work practices. Applicants must have a good driving record and must be able to obtain a DOT medical
