Responsibilities Cleaning of the shop, shop grounds, shop office, shop vehicles, and shop equipment Perform routine lubricating maintenance on mixer trucks, tractor trucks, and trailer sets Perform maintenance on the shop and assist with repairs Drive vehicles
for the purpose of maintaining dust control on plant grounds and haul roads Drive company vehicle from the main shop to satellite locations, pick up and/or drop off parts at a moment's notice Assist shop personnel as needed Education High school diploma/GED Requirements/Qualifications Driver's license with a clean driving record Must have reliable transportation and excellent attendance Overtime may be required; ability to work flexible hours with varying start and stop times Ability to read and write in English Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with others Ability to use a shovel and brooms to clean grounds Comfortable and efficient
with hand and power tools Motions: climbing, stooping, bending, squatting, lifting, stretching, driving/sitting, shifting gears, twisting, pushing, pulling Frequent lifting of 75 pounds; occasional lifting of 100 pounds Can be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weather and wet environments Steel-toed boots required; ANSI approved PPE will be provided and must be used when required Position is subject to safety-sensitive drug and alcohol testing Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
