River sub-basin is the largest single drainage system in Ohio at 8,095 square miles. Duties Perform grounds keeping including mowing and cleaning services of public use areas and operational areas. Perform flood cleanup operations at the reservoir to include cutting, stacking, and burning of flood debris and driftwood.

Read and record data pertaining to weather conditions, reservoir pool and stream elevations and reports data to higher graded employee. Operate a variety of tools, machinery and equipment in association with grounds keeping, mowing, cleaning, and maintenance activities. Perform various tasks in connection with connection with construction, alteration, maintenance, and repair

of buildings, structures, roads, grounds, utilities, and other facilities related to the operation and maintenance of the reservoir area. Position requires a pre-employment physical. A position requires a valid State motor vehicle operator's license prior to appointment and maintain the license for the duration of employment. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision Screen Out PHYSICAL EFFORT : Work requires the exertion of very heavy physical effort frequently involving the lifting and moving of objects weighing over 50 pounds. Work requires considerable walking, bending and stooping, and some climbing for short distances.

WORKING CONDITIONS : Work outside in all kinds of weather, and inside in areas that may be dusty, drafty, and noisy. Equipment, tools, and tasks involved at this level frequently require special care to avoid serious injuries. Work on and around river or lake structures involves hazards of falling and drowning.
