The Laborer / Site Help: Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools. Assisting Heavy Equipment Operators with transport, movement and rigging of equipment on-site. Operating smaller equipment: street sweeper, forklift, plate compactor, weed trimmers, etc.
Removing debris and maintaining a clean and safe work site. Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding. Collecting and organizing dump truck tickets Complying with all safety rules and regulations. Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed. This position will include miscellaneous tasks on the job site. Qualifications / Requirements of The Laborer / Site Help: Must have at least 1 to
2 years of Construction Experience. Be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required. May require some traveling.
Be motivated and able to work independently. Possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Highschool diploma or GED. Working knowledge of construction site safety and road safety regulations. Able to operate heavy equipment a plus, but not required. Previous Dredging or Marine Construction Experience a plus OSHA Certifications a plus. Physical Demands/Work Environment of The Laborer / Site Help: Physical/Sensory Functions: Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand,
walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell.
Lift and/or Move Functions: Regularly will lift up to 10 pounds; Frequently will lift up to 25 pounds; Occasionally will lift up to 50 pounds. Employee Benefits.
