Mc Cain Food’s facility in Rice Lake Wisconsin is a large-scale food processing plant, employing approximately 260 employees. This site specializes in the production of onion rings. Essential Duties: Performs maintenance and repair work on all production line equipment
with little or no assistance or supervision. Manages scheduled work through CMMS.
Performs preventive maintenance work as scheduled. Inspects equipment to ensure proper maintenance. Identifies and documents required repairs. Performs electrical troubleshooting on three-phase and single-phase power, and on instrumentation equipment, using a multimeter and arc flash gear. Performs mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on all equipment. Replaces bearings, seals, electric motors, and gear drives. Repairs and/or splices wire belting, modular belting, and rubber belts on conveyors. Repairs and maintains heating and ventilating units. Repairs and maintains material handling equipment.
Sharpens and installs blades on various machines. Maintains all ammonia compressors, air compressors, and vacuum systems. Performs plumbing on steam, water, and hydraulics. Performs general machine tool and stainless-steel fabrication. Proactively supports internal and external customers. Understands and follows established food safety and safety rules and practices. Keeps shop and work areas in a clean and orderly condition in compliance with 5S. The following qualifications are required: (Must be proficient in 3 or more of the following) - Refrigeration (Ammonia) - Robotics - Electrical (Solid State a plus) - Ability to read Blueprints/Schematics - Hydraulics and pneumatics - Stainless steel fabrication - PLC skills - Self-managing, motivated, and innovative - PC skills and knowledge of software or CMMS system are favorable This is a night shift role- 6 pm to 6 am, Schedule.
