home. What's the job? Supervises the daily activities of skilled maintenance personnel and assists with maintenance project work as assigned. Provides leadership in safety, quality, housekeeping and cost reduction. Promotes positive employee relations throughout the maintenance organization.
Supervisor is held accountable to ensure maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, policies, and procedures. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Manager. Responsible for planning, evaluating, organizing, and implementing assigned installation, maintenance and repair activities and coordinating with other departments
to assure minimum downtime for production and maximum safety of employees. Performs root cause analysis as well as implements sustainable countermeasures on losses related to maintenance.
Ensures Preventive Maintenance (PM) is accomplished in a timely manner and are to a high standard of quality. Requires change management, methodical/analytical problem solving and employee leadership skills with the ability to effectively apply those skills in a leadership capacity. Required Qualifications What do you bring? Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or lead in a manufacturing environment for 3 years or more. A technical diploma or degree is preferred in the fields of engineering or manufacturing,
including; mechanical, electrical, industrial that provides a thorough knowledge of the skills utilized in manufacturing improvement activities.
Supervisory experience and 5 prior years of related work experience in a lean manufacturing environment preferred. 5+ years of experience building and leading teams with a track record of success, along with the ability to develop and implement action plans. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels of the organization. Working knowledge of electrical systems, a plus. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001, is a plus, including continual improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma.
High level of knowledge and understanding of computer systems and programs, especially proficient in Microsoft Office applications, e-mail and Internet access navigation. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Preferably with knowledge of or experience with the following equipment or systems Siemens, and Allen Bradley VFDs , Positive displacement pumps, Conveying systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, Web based manufacturing process, Coating systems, Rotary cutting, Variable drives, Load cell systems, Air compressors, Thermal Fluids, Automation, Batch processing, Advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and maintaining electrical & mechanical equipment such as motors, gearboxes, mechanical drive systems, bearings, chains, sprockets, belts etc.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 10% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $85,100 to $132,100. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
