Summary/Objective The Janitor is responsible for cleaning and maintaining a clean factory and may include pick-up and delivery of maintenance supplies. Duties and responsibilities Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Move equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks Notify managers concerning the
need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems. Responsibilities: This position works rotating shifts. Manage and direct the hourly work force. Supervise the maintenance crafts and coordinate repairs in production areas. Perform equipment inspections. Follows up on shift objectives and directs resources to complete timely repairs to equipment. Documents shift activities. Prepares reports as required. Interface effectively with other members of supervision, personnel from other departments, and ISWA personnel. Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned. Requirements: 2 - 5 years electrical/mechanical experience in a supervisory role. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Hydraulics knowledge and experience preferred. Former electrical and/or mechanical education preferred. PAY RANGE: $59,400 - $74,250 DISCRETIONARY TARGET BONUS: 12% The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
