This include s mopping and vacuuming floors, disinfecting surfaces and restrooms , and emptying trash and recycl ing cans along with other activities as assigned. This position is responsible for the care of our various buildings in the North Side and reports to the F acilities M anager. RESPONSIBILITIES
: Performs timely building cleaning and provides cleaning support to various departments; cleans al l facilities daily including common areas , bathrooms, office cleaning, outside grounds, and trash removal.
Notify management of recurring deficiencies or needs for repairs. Stock and maintain the supply room. Completes project work as assigned which may include, but not limited to heavy cleaning, wall washing, window cleaning, elevator cleaning, and clogged toilets. Adheres to all safety standards in the use of chemicals, equipment, and machinery and in clearly marking hazardous areas resulting from cleaning processes. Adheres to the policies, procedures, rules and regulations of the mission
as well as regulatory bodies. Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.
Train interns or volunteers and oversee their work. Assists other staff with assembly and tear down for a variety of events. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Ability to p backsecurity screening.
