technician shall perform duties associated with the care, maintenance, repair and security of all airport land, HVAC systems, facilities, utilities and fleet of vehicles and equipment. This position is a full hands-on position which includes heavy maintenance on automated equipment, operation of heavy maintenance equipment, repairs to buildings, plumbing, electrical equipment, and other duties.
This general maintenance position is designed to provide the airport with a good overall maintenance technician capable of a broad spectrum of assignments with expertise in facility systems. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Day-to-day activities include the safety, operations, and security of the airport.
Perform maintenance and repairs on airport-owned buildings, land, and grounds requiring diverse maintenance skills and knowledge including but not limited to: HVAC, electrical, CCTV, plumbing, passenger boarding bridges, baggage belts, carpentry installation and repair, painting, flooring installation and repair, pavement and asphalt, paint striping, snow removal, grass cutting, and landscaping.
Perform maintenance and repairs on the airport's utilities including water system, sanitary sewer system and storm sewer system as required. Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of gasoline and diesel engine equipment and vehicles. Perform maintenance and repairs on various types of
mechanical, electronic, and electrical systems. Perform other duties as assigned.
May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices. JOB QUALIFICATIONS Possession or ability to acquire a State of New Jersey CDL Type B driver's license. Must be available during snow/severe weather emergencies. High school education or equivalent. Must be able to speak and read English. Experience with and ability to diagnose and repair HVAC and electrical systems and components preferred. Experience and mechanical aptitude in the operation, maintenance and repair of baggage belt conveyor systems and passenger boarding bridges preferred.
Experience in various preventative maintenance techniques. Knowledge of general interior and exterior facility maintenance and repairs to include buildings, grounds, asphalt, concrete, HVAC etc. Hazardous materials and their safe use and proper disposal. Knowledge of landscape and grounds maintenance techniques including but not limited to familiarity with tractors, snow plows, salt trucks and chemical trucks helpful. Ability to operate all types of equipment associated with an airport maintenance program. General plumbing repairs and maintenance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. The Maintenance Technician 3 will actively participate in the day-to-day maintenance activities associated with the safety, security and operation of Atlantic City Airport. 2. The Maintenance Technician 3 must be available to respond as needed when requested
by the ACY Facility staff to any airport emergency condition including but not limited to snow emergencies. 3. Learn and become proficient with the operation of all ACY snow emergency equipment and perform snow removal services on both the public roadway system as well as the AOA areas including runways, taxiways, service roads, ramp areas, and perimeter roadways.
4. Learn to operate all airport equipment and vehicles to perform any and all maintenance tasks including landscaping, paving, transporting of materials etc. 5. The Airport Technician 3 will be required to work any shift as deemed necessary by the ACY Management Staff. 6. Perform maintenance and repairs of Airport owned buildings.
7. Perform maintenance and repairs of Airport owned land and grounds.
8. Perform maintenance and repairs, of all Airport hard surfaces (i. e. asphalt and Concrete), includes snow removal, crack sealing, asphalt patching, paint striping etc. 9. Perform maintenance and repairs of the Airport's utilities including water system, sanitary sewer system and storm sewer system as required. 10. Perform maintenance and repairs on Airport baggage conveyors, passenger boarding bridges and other facility systems as requested. 11. Perform other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS/JOB QUALIFICATIONS 1. Possession or ability to acquire a State of New Jersey CDL Type B driver's license. 2. Possession of CFC Universal Certification and Master Contractor HVAC License 3. High school education or equivalent. 4. Must be able to speak and read English 5. Facilities Experience and/or aptitude in all building and facility systems including Baggage Belts, Loading Bridges, HVAC, sprinkler systems, generators, PLCs 6. Experience in Preventative Maintenance techniques with the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues and make repairs or recommend repairs.
7. General facility maintenance to include buildings, grounds, asphalt, concrete, HVAC etc. 8. Proven experience in troubleshooting various Electrical systems, both high and low voltage, and control wiring. 9. Hazardous materials and their safe use and proper disposal. 10. Landscape and grounds maintenance techniques including but not limited to familiarity with snow plows (skid steer, bob cats, hustlers, tractors). 11. Diagnosing and repairing HVAC and electrical systems and components 12. General interior and exterior building maintenance and repairs. 13. General plumbing repairs and maintenance.

Airport, NJ location. In this role you would only work when full-time employees are out. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following: Observe facility standards of sanitation and safety in cleaning procedures. Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
Collect and dispose of paper and rubbish. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using appropriate cleaners and equipment. Spot cleaning area carpets; assisting in carpet extractions and shampooing.
Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies. Stock necessary cleaning and paper supplies in janitor closets; refills/replaces hand towels, soap, and other materials to have them available for use. Follow the housekeeping schedule outlined by the immediate supervisor. Use heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers. Cleans up after guests, visitors, or other staff members to ensure that high standards of sanitation are maintained. Other duties may be assigned, as required by the scope
