What Your Day Consists Of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Maintenance/Grounds person reports to the Executive Director/Assistant Executive Director and is responsible for carrying out the primary duties of maintaining the facility and grounds around the facility. These essential functions include, but are not limited to: Demonstrate positive interpersonal relations in dealing with employees, residents, residents’ families, visitors, and coworkers in a professional and confidential manner.
Touch up paint, apartment remodel, sanding, caulking, repairs, drywall Repair plumbing/electrical Coordinate pest control Coordinate grounds keeping Change out heating filters Power wash condensers Coordinate carpet cleaning Fix toilet risers, and grab bars Weed control Remove leaf's Maintain water features Maintain sprinkler system Clean sidewalks Coordinate washing of windows, inside and out Coordinate snow removal Keep sidewalks free from debris and snow Other jobs, as needed Work to establish a group culture to enable Bellaview Assisted Living to function as a whole.
Conduct and document all community fire drills Update regularly MSDS and assure all chemicals used in the community are approved and stored in a secured area at all times.
