on commercial HVAC/R systems. Perform thorough inspections of equipment, identifying and diagnosing any potential issues or malfunctions. Inspect and clean condenser and evaporator coils.
Replace filters. Clean, lubricate, and adjust components such as motors, fans, belts, bearings, and other moving parts to ensure proper operation and efficiency. Test and calibrate system controls and thermostats to ensure accurate performance. Check refrigerant levels, perform leak detection, and conduct proper refrigerant recovery and recycling procedures. Verify electrical connections, measure voltage and current, and troubleshoot electrical components. Advise customers on the maintenance and care
of their HVAC/R systems, providing recommendations for improvements or repairs when necessary.
Performs minor repairs. Assists Service Technicians with more complex service calls/repairs as needed. Completes necessary paperwork with company issued laptop/tablet. Provides clear and consistent communication with customer and CSR/Dispatcher. Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on company service vehicle. Safely drives company vehicle, follows requirements of company vehicle driving policy and adheres to all safety requirements. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior hands-on experience OR completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC/R is strongly preferred.
EPA Universal certification for handling refrigerants. Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, gauges, and meters. Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records. Basic computer skills. Must possess a valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Must pass a drug screen and background check.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting technicians in responding to work orders and providing service and feedback to the customer on all work orders, troubleshooting, and providing preventive maintenance on the facility's mechanical equipment, fixtures, and systems.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to performing a variety of preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and trouble calls. This position will assist the facility attendants in responding to work orders, providing service and feedback to the customer on all hot and cold calls, and performing preventive maintenance on various types of equipment as scheduled. general maintenance of equipment
will also be required. Responsibilities: Responsible for the contractual compliance of operations and maintenance tasks assigned at the designated Rest Area facilities.
Update and write Task orders as needed in CMMS system. Update Task orders as assigned. Review existing documentation and develop new process documentation as required to ensure work practices and contract quality assurance requirements are met. Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities in processes and systems. Inspect the work of subcontractors to ensure compliance with contract standards and scope of work. Repair building fixtures including lights, locks, windows, doors, screens, walls, floors, gutters,
drains and other assigned duties. Repair Parking lots and sidewalks including cracks, holes paint lines, maintain signs, maintain lighting and other assigned duties.
Operate and perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment and related systems. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that building systems operate efficiently and that the physical condition of buildings does not deteriorate. Perform maintenance tasks such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs and other assigned duties to ensure that the building is properly maintained. All other duties as assigned. May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 2-3 years QA/QC experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent is required Must have experience with plumbing Journeymen Electrician Certification or HVAC Certification is required. Be in good standing with DPOR Must have good communication and customer service skills Be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays Knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word May be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth above to address business needs and changing business practices.

Requires ability to attend meetings throughout the site and potentially travel to other U. S. Facilities, Inc. customer and/or vendor locations in the area, as well as some air travel to more distant locations. Requires the ability to communicate with others on the telephone and in one-on-one or group discussions, meetings, and presentations. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.
