Perform analyses of pertinent management information reports and equipment histories to identify machinery and equipment with high maintenance costs or with lubrication problems, and make recommendations for corrective action. Promote plant standardization of pumps, valves, instruments, etc. to simplify maintenance work, standardize work methods, reduce inventory, and reduce manufacturing cost. Planner with pre-planning turnarounds, shutdowns, and special projects, including timing, accumulation of job lists, ordering parts and materials, sequencing jobs around a critical path, sizing work crews based on job estimation, and preparation of an overall schedule.
