and will be responsible for maintaining the facility and equipment in safe and proper operating condition. The Maintenance Mechanic repairs and maintains production and other facility equipment, troubleshoots equipment failures, and performs routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic/pneumatic, light plumbing and electrical maintenance.
In addition, the Maintenance Mechanic assists with the install of new equipment and fabricates new equipment or supplemental pieces when needed. The Maintenance Mechanic will apply preventative measures to the building and equipment to reduce the risk of future problems and defect and identify and correct safety hazards to prevent injuries.
