A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE OPERATOR As a Golf Course Maintenance Operator , you will have the responsibility of learning and performing all tasks associated with the daily maintenance of an upscale golf course, in a safe and very detail-oriented manner.
Golf course setup will be performed by changing cups, moving tee markers, emptying trash cans, filling divot buckets, moving hazard markers, cleaning comfort stations, and addressing all associated detail items. You will be operating mowers including but not limited to; tee mowers, fairway mowers, and rough mowers. You will be operating tractor-drawn
equipment including but not limited to; pull frame fairway and rough mowers, top dressers, topdress trailers, front end loaders, tractor-drawn sprayers, and bush hog mowers.
You will be operating two cycle hand tools including but not limited to; string trimmers, edgers, hand blowers, etc. You will perform the application of granular fertilizers, wetting agents, and pesticides. This role will require you to be responsible for the safety of yourself, your fellow employees, and our members and guests. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE OPERATOR Mechanical experience helpful, but not required Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. Ability to work for long periods of time walking,
standing, or stooping. Flexible schedule. Ability to work weekends and holidays.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE IRRIGATION TECH As a Golf Course Maintenance Irrigation Tech, you will safely and accurately monitor and repair golf course irrigation systems, including but not limited to pump stations, pipes, valves, heads, controllers, and all associated computer hardware and software.
You will maintain proper moisture levels of turf and landscaping to enhance playability and aesthetics. You will identify excessively wet/dry areas and address them proactively. You will Maintain daily logs for irrigation water consumption, pump hours, bulk liquid fertilizer consumption, and acid injection.
Responsible for appropriate inventories of all irrigation system parts and accessories. Inventories are to be maintained within budgeted guidelines, and following established purchase order and invoice processing procedures.
You will maintain the Irrigation facility and all associated equipment in a clean and organized manner. You will communicate and offer insights in a professional manner.
