Responsibilities and duties of this position include: Essential functions: Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing of flooring and stairs Clean and sanitize sinks, countertops, toilets, and bathroom stall walls.
Restock supplies in bathrooms, break rooms, and common areas, as necessary. Empty all trashcans, replace liners, and clean receptacles, as necessary. Collect recyclable materials and take to appropriate areas to be sorted. Dusting and cleaning office desks and furniture. Clean windowsills,
windows, and stairwells. Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized, and safe manner. Maintain and use cleaning equipment in a safe and proper manner. Wear proper personal protective equipment at all times.
Proper labeling, dilution, and use of all chemicals. Report any damage of cleaning equipment. Report maintenance needs to project manager or supervisor. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to follow oral instructions Ability to work effectively with a team. Ability to work independently as needed to support the group effort. Basic knowledge of cleaning products, understanding of MSD's, or willing to learn. Good client/customer service skills. Good communication and interpersonal
