You’ll do this in a variety of ways, including: Utilizing basic horticulture and landscaping skills, along with both hand- and powered-tools and equipment, to perform a wide variety of grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and fertilizing. Utilizing basic mechanical skills and tools for maintaining ground maintenance equipment. Performing snow removal tasks and treating slippery or hazardous surfaces.
Using good customer service skills during daily interactions with residents.
Assisting Maintenance Department with basic repairs and/or routine maintenance, as needed. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE NEEDED: A valid driver’s license issued by the PA Department of Transportation. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and vocational or on-the-job training for this position. Valid PA pesticide applicator license. One (1) year of experience performing basic custodial duties.
