Job Summary: River Tech is looking for a Maintenance Manager to work in Fort Jackson, SC. To join our team of outstanding professionals, apply today! Job Responsibilities: Responsible for reporting readiness and overall management of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of the vehicle fleet, weapons, communication equipment, Night Vision Devices and the daily supervision of unit GCSS-A operators and Motor Sergeants for all supported units. Monitors Class IX spending via ZPARK, man-hour accounting submission. Briefs
at the General Officer level. Monitors, reviews and submits EMSR reports via LDAC system; and be able to brief reports of subordinate units.
Provides maintenance reports to supported battalion headquarters with current status of all battalion equipment. Constantly keeps the Command abreast of maintenance issues and systemic problems. Monitors the adherence of Safety of Use Messages and installation of Modification Work Orders via the MMIS system. Provides technical guidance to units through briefings and identifying problems. Has general knowledge of GCSS-A, LOGSA and FEDLOGHas general knowledge of AESIP and the different applications associated with it. Monitors, analyzes and provides trend analysis for vehicle fleet.
Monitors unit Safety Program and provide Safety Reports as needed. Familiar with the Area Maintenance Support Activity (AMSA) and Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) and itsoperations. Assists units in developing with Drivers Training Program and Licensing Program. Provides Staff Assistance Visits (SAV) when scheduled. Assists with the fielding of new equipment and new equipment training. Is proficient in Excel, Power Point, Word and provide proper email etiquette. Minimum Qualifications: Must have 10 years of experience, preferably retired E-7 or above, or a Warrant Officer.
Must have extensive maintenance background. Must be a US Citizen with a US Government clearance Secret or higher. Must be familiar with GCSS-A, LDAC and FEDLOG. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Must be familiar with the AMSA and ECS and its operation. Must be able to stand, sit, walk, reach and bend for extended periods of time.
