Schedule the preventive maintenance and repairs of all facility and operations equipment in a timely fashion; collect/manage maintenance records Use data to help improve decision making and work to become more predictive Provide the highest level of customer service and be a technical resource for service center leaders Communicate with service center leaders regarding ongoing projects; coordinate the maintenance and repair of the assigned facilities including
but not limited to Material Handling Equipment (MHE), electrical systems, lighting (interior and exterior), HVAC systems, parking lots, dock doors, and fire and security systems Monitor and maintain all purchase orders, work orders and invoices for assigned facilities Oversee contractor services and quotations with a focus on cost avoidance Manage the contractor network for your assigned region.
Conduct Quarterly performance reviews with vendors and look to constantly improve on service levels Must be able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently What you need to succeed at XPO: At a minimum, you’ll need: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience 5 years of experience within Facilities Management Familiarity with building systems including Fire Life Safety, Roofing, Asphalt/Concrete, and Electrical The aptitude to perform semi-complex mathematical operations Experience using CMMS systems It’d be great if you also have: 5+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role 10+ years of experience within Facilities Management Experience with multiple manufacturers’ equipment Experience working Internationally Preventative Maintenance Experience Be part of something big.
