Work to get the production process going in the most efficient manner possible, minimizing down time to the greatest extent possible. Prioritize working on multiple repair requests on an urgency basis, requiring coordination/communication with the Production and Maintenance leadership teams. Alert the Maintenance Lead or Manager of any unusual breakdown or damage to plant or equipment. Work on special projects as determined by Maintenance Manager. Perform PM activities as time permits. Preferred Experience High school education. 2+ years of maintenance experience in a food processing environment; manufacturing environment helpful, but will train the right candidate. Electrical/Mechanical education and/or experience. Ability to plan projects and coordinate tasks. Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
Computer proficiency with Outlook and Microsoft. Driving Continuous Improvement. Physical Requirements: Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Frequent squatting, kneeling, stooping, and bending. Travel Requirements: May travel to other facilities. Valid motor vehicle operator's license required.
