Duties Include: Carpentry repairs and painting tasks such as preparing surfaces and applying paint, stain, or varnish with brushes, rollers, and sprayers; minor masonry work; hanging signs, pictures, etc. for staff; landscaping and grounds maintenance; operation and maintenance of vehicles and equipment; set-up for Board meetings and other trainings; General clean-up and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: No experience required, will train the right candidate. Any carpentry background a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently. Physically capable of
effectively using and operating various hand and power tools, and construction equipment, and lifting up to 100 lbs. Must possess a valid VA driver's license supplemented by a Class A combination and Tanker endorsements.
Confined space entrant, CPR/First Aid/ AED certification, NIMMS Training, 16-Hour Asbestos Operations and Maintenance, VDOT Flagging certification, Intermediate Work Zone Safety, Forklift training, 16-Hour OSHA training.
