Responsibilities Inspect, repair, and maintain HVAC equipment, residential and commercial. Inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems, residential and commercial. Inspect, repair, and maintain and repair fans, pumps, coolers, boilers, and general equipment Inspect, maintain, and repair plumbing Complete general maintenance tasks Assemble furniture Maintain grounds, including snow removal
and shoveling Lawn equipment maintenance PM vehicles Prepare areas for construction Follow safety protocol and procedures Knowledge/Skill/Ability Requirements High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Valid Illinois driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of auto insurance is required Ability to read, write, follow written, and oral instructions is required. Working knowledge of general maintenance skills in carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, boilers, plumbing, etc. is required Plumbing experience, resident and commercial, is preferred Analytical skills necessary to recognize, diagnose and repair equipment and system malfunctions are required. Knowledge of
safety procedures is required. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with others in determining and solving needs are required.
Mathematical skills necessary to perform some calculations are required. Ability to learn to read blueprints and specifications. When on call, you will need to be within a 30-minute drive from Hopedale. Responsibilities: This position works rotating shifts. Manage and direct the hourly work force. Supervise the maintenance crafts and coordinate repairs in production areas. Perform equipment inspections. Follows up on shift objectives and directs resources to complete timely repairs to equipment. Documents shift activities. Prepares reports as required. Interface effectively with other members of supervision, personnel from other departments, and ISWA personnel. Responsible for safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.
Other duties as assigned. Requirements: 2 - 5 years electrical/mechanical experience in a supervisory role. High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required. Hydraulics knowledge and experience preferred. Former electrical and/or mechanical education preferred. PAY RANGE: $59,400 - $74,250 DISCRETIONARY TARGET BONUS: 12% The Location: Liberty Steel & Wire is based in Peoria, IL.
