This individual would work with a team of engineers, product managers, Application Support, and administrators to efficiently support, maintain and enhance CHG applications to provide a world class experience to our employees, providers, and clients.
Additionally, this individual may act as a liaison to 3rd party partners and our internal product owners feature development and implementation. Hyper focused on value driven results, architecture, and the customer. Responsibilities: Provide
day-to-day support and resolve issues on a multitenant application including advanced troubleshooting and system administration of internal and external applications and integrations Protect product roadmap by practicing extreme ownership of reported issues to avoid further escalation where possible Document known issues and resolutions to share with team including communication of progress and resolved issues throughout the process Contribute to knowledge base of tickets and resolutions that can be used to refer to prevent unnecessary escalation Provide appropriate diagnosis and/or diagnostic information, including steps to reproduce any issues prior to any escalation Become a subject matter
expert on application functionality to provide secondary (Tier 2) customer support and mentorship to frontline support as necessary Use existing observability tools to monitor system performance degradation, load, and outages Triage alerts from observability tools to escalate to the platform and engineering teams Partner with application engineers to ensure adequate performance, scalability of reliability of underlying infrastructure Work as liaison between engineering and others including end-users and 3rd parties when necessary Participate in scrum ceremonies as needed Participate in third party application integrations with internal platforms Maintain data integrity, maintenance, and analysis of systems, as well as develop and deploy custom reports Assist delivery team in implementing new features or function currently not being used Utilize the core business processes capabilities inherent within supported applications to provide the basis for gathering business requirements, performing gap analysis, researching, and evaluating alternative solutions, documentation, and optimization of business processes Build and maintain relationships with product managers, support teams, and leadership Help manage and own other applications in the CHG application portfolio as available Qualifications: Leverage expert customer service and technical skills to provide a world class experience Use excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to build collaborative relationships of trust Become a subject matter expert for internal and external facing applications through critical thinking and advanced problem-solving Demonstrate extreme ownership and accountability with attention to details and sense of urgency to drive results Leverage leadership skills to act as a mentor to other technical personnel Use expert proficiency in MS Office Be a thought leader in suggesting solutions to resolve customer issues and improve our products Leverage quick learning capabilities to teach and fully document technical based skills to non-technical learners Experience with tools such as Data Dog, Kibana, Sentry, New Relic, Ops Genie, etc.
Experience with tools such as JIRA, Zen Desk, etc. Solid understanding of Windows, Linux, Networking, TCP-IP, Routing, Switches, Firewalls, Load balancers, and other infrastructure components. Interest or experience in cloud technologies (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes) Practical expertise in managing and leading application reliability practices for consumer-facing web and mobile experiences.
Education and Years of Experience: Minimum 4+ years' experience in advanced IT support role Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Application Development, Business Administration, or relevant field Qualified professional experience and/or certification may be substituted for some candidates Preferred: Proficiency in business intelligence platforms and/or database analysis skills preferred Experience with advanced support and administration of applications and tools including: JIRA, AWS, CRM (Salesforce/Bullhorn), web apps, Java, document management, credentialing, digital assets, APIs, and/or automation preferred Experience supporting REST applications preferred Experience with SDLC and object-oriented programming preferred Advanced SQL and/or querying skills preferred Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.
S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $56,800 -- $172,700 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience.
